Expanding Foams
Expanding Foam:
These foams are blended specifically for LimbTex and are designed for different uses within prosthetic, orthotic and orthopaedic footwear workshops including for prosthetic alignment and shoe lasts.
Once mixed and cures, these foams become rigid but vary in strength depending on the grade selected. Please see individual products for their expansion information and recommended use.
All grades need to be mixed in a 1:1 ration by WEIGHT with LimbFoam Hardener. Once cured, it can be shaped by machine or by hand.
If using LimbFoam for shoe lasts, it is recommended to use the LimbFoam release agent to aid stripping the cast.
